£45,000 - £50,000 Flexible Working Hours, Healthcare + benefits.

Due to our clients continued growth we are recruiting an ACA qualified accountant with an audit background to join a large finance team In Reading, this role will suit an individual looking to make their first move to industry.

Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will cover various aspects of the company's financial reporting, providing the senior management team with robust and up to date financial information that supports decision making in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Regular US GAAP to GAAP reconciliations.
  • Review and obtain data for SOX and internal audit.
  • Transfer pricing compliance including SAO and individual country reporting requirements.
  • Preparation and analysis of UK VAT returns.
  • Statutory Accounts.
  • Liaising with auditors in preparation of statutory audits.
  • Processing month end and associated reports.
  • US tax packs.
  • Regular US GAAP to GAAP reconciliations.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts to TB level and monthly reconciliations.
  • Additional monthly MI reporting as required by management.
  • Completion of VAT returns and all other government reporting in accordance with legislative deadlines.
  • Ensuring correct accounting of leases in line with accounting standards.
  • Assistance in year end and budgeting processes.

Your Profile

  • ACA Top 10 audit trained newly qualified accountant looking for first move to industry.
  • The ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately whilst managing their own workload and adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to interact with other team members and stakeholders are essential.
  • Ability to recognise areas for improvement in current processes/systems and to suggest potential improvements.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits.
