Events Marketing Executive role for a creative, results-driven marketer looking to take the next step in their events career!Events Marketing Executive required to join a passionate and dynamic team within a world-leading international events company. The successful Events Marketing Executive will help to plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns across a portfolio of international conferences.

Supported by the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of global marketing campaigns of the highest standard delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be highly creative and an excellent team player with the ability to organise their time to manage multiple projects. Two years’ experience of an events or relevant B2B role is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns with support from the Marketing Manager in line with the event or project objectivesAssisting with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolioWriting and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochuresMaintaining and updating conference websitesUsing digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the businessManaging and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build planContinuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performanceAssisting with the PR activity relating to the conference portfolio, researching material for press releases, building relationships with relevant press and partnersBuilding and managing relationships with external suppliers and negotiating pricesWorking with key media & association partners to secure valuable external promotions for the conferencesCarrying out competitor analysis to identify potential threats and opportunitiesSkills & knowledge:

• Literate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written English

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes

• Knowledge of digital marketing practices and channels such as GoogleAnalytics, SEO, PPC and social media

• Experience using a CRM system such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills to interrogate data and draw conclusions

• Good knowledge of written & spoken French preferred
