Stores Apprentice (Halesowen)

Hayley Group Ltd is looking for a Stores Apprentice, based at their Halesowen HQ, to undertake a multi-tasking general role encompassing stores, issue & receipt of goods and services, deliveries.

Main duties:

The efficient issue and receipt of stock & commodities.

To ensure safe use of all stores lifting and moving aids using PPE provided where necessary

To locate new stock lines

To accurately select stock against picking notes, packing for cost-efficient dispatch

To record day to day data and information accurately onto computer system.

To provide information on stock availability (perpetual and random inventory)

To develop knowledge, skills and business “savvy” to progress career within the organisation

To participate in the response to emergency situations whenever they arise.

To undertake other similar or associated duties as may be assigned to you.

Personal skills required for this apprenticeship:

Able to work and flexibly as part of a team
Willing to learn and take responsibility for your own development
Punctual and reliable
Committed to the completion of your apprenticeship
Good work ethic, passion and right attitude to work

Hours of Work;

40 hours, Monday to Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings as scheduled.
