Badenoch and Clark are working alongside a reputable business based in Cambridge who are looking to take on an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy finance team.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with working in a pressurised environment and able to meet tight deadlines, whilst addressing challenges and queries in a professional manor.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments and who will be able to grow with the business.

You will:
*Be responsible for preparation of revenue & cost of sales accounting entries
*Manage the project budget process to ensure integrity of project budgets are maintained
*Ensure a consistent approach is taken across all project reports to provide key MI
*Manage the project forecasting process, enforcing deadlines, challenging results & insuring integrity of data & assumptions
*Proactively review & challenge forecasts with project managers to ensure accuracy
*Provide accurate management reporting packs to the operational & project teams to help ensure margins are maintained
*Operational cash flows reviewed & questioned, with relevant stakeholders, to ensure an accurate cash inflow is incorporated into the reporting mechanism
*Ensure the data clearly explains all balance sheet items, such as deferred revenue & warranty provision

To be considered for the role you must be in the later stages of your AAT studies and looking to move onto your CIMA, ACCA or ACA or currently studying your CIMA, ACCA or ACA. You will have (as a minimum) exposure to management accounts, but ideally have 2 years experience within a busy management accounting function.
