A large primary school in a central Southwark location needs a talented Graduate to join them as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

POSITION: SEN Teaching Assistant / Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

PERSON: Graduate Teaching Assistant MUST possess some form of SEN experience – ideally with ASD children. Perfect experience for those aspiring Educational/Clinical Psychologists & Speech & Language Therapists!

LOCATION: Southwark, South Central London

TRANSPORT: Walking distance from London Bridge area (Jubilee, Northern and over ground services)

START: ASAP start– long term for the remainder of the academic year

ROLE: Support a specialist class of 10-12 Autistic pupils

PAY: £70-80 per day dependant on experience

As their SEN Teaching Assistant, you will join a specialist unit that is part of a main stream primary school. This is a small class of 10-12 Autistic pupils with varying levels of Autism. To be considered for this fantastic SEN Teaching Assistant post that will stand your CV out from the crowd, you need to hold some form of SEN experience. Having a basic understanding of how to effectively work with children that have learning difficulties is essential.

This is a varied and challenging SEN Teaching Assistant post that requires a Graduate with bags of confidence who will tackle challenges head on with determination. They need an SEN Teaching Assistant who understands that SEN children need encouragement and consistency to achieve, develop and grow.
