My client was formed in 2004, as an operating division of Oxford University Innovation,the technology transfer office (TTO) of the University of Oxford, specifically to transfer the innovation management knowledge built up in a company successfully (and
profitably) commercialising technology from academic research, to other organisations, worldwide.

Now an independent company owned by the staff and management, my client delivers consultancy, training and programme management in over 60 countries.

My client is an established business, employing 19 highly skilled Consultants based in Oxford, with a turnover in the region of £2.5 million and average annual growth of 25%.

Due to a family relocation, a vacancy for an ambitious and detailed-orientated Project and Marketing Coordinator has become available, to be based in their Oxford office.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team and play a key supportive role in growing and developing the business.

The role will report to the Commercial Director and will involve
supporting all Consultants with business development, marketing and some project activities.

The position of the Project and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting business development through the proposal writing and public tender process
  • Supporting marketing activities such as the eNewsletter, digital content creation and the running of events
  • Contributing to a strong team ethic by building key stakeholder relationships
  • The successful candidate will have a preferably have a degree or equivalent in a related subject
  • The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate proven competence in:
  • Communicating effectively with a wide range of people and organisations
  • Experience of digital marketing, with event management experience desirable
  • Very strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • High levels of attention to detail with the ability to create excellent written material
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and working efficiently as part of a high performing team
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential
  • Salary for this role is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of £25,000 – £35,000, plus benefits including a bonus scheme, future share options, pension and private medical insurance.
