Your new role
You will be a qualified teacher of Geography that has had experience of teaching their specialism from KS3 though to KS5. You will be required to start as soon as possible, five days a week and this post will be full time. Planning and marking would be expected in this role and you will get a competitive salary to compensate that. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach across all key stages. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to working well with students, you will also need to be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff. You will need a passion for teaching Geography and willingness to promote learning. Another important and key factor is that extremely strong behavioural and classroom management skills.
