Teaching assistant - Chiswick

Start after Oct half term - Mainstream secondary school

We are currently working with a mainstream secondary school in Chiswick. They are currently looking for an SEN teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a male SpLD student. They would like someone who has strong behaviour management, experience of working with SEN pupils in a school setting and will support them to target their specific needs.

This role will run for the entire academic year.

The successful candidate will start a weeks trial asap and will need a DBS on the update service.

The school is located close to a mainline train station and various local bus routes

Key skills and experience needed:

  • SEN Experience
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • University degree or A Level qualification
  • Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
  • Professional manor
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach
  • Experience or knowledge within special educational needs
