Vargo has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients large, established business based in the centre of Cardiff. The Finance department is growing rapidly and they are looking for an experienced candidate to join their team.
This position is a permanent, full time position.
JOB ROLE·Invoice processing·Bank reconciliations·Investigate queries·Create and set up new accounts·Posting of invoices·To ensure purchase orders are appropriately authorised within budget guidelines.·Bank and credit card reconciliation·Invoice coding·Building relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service·Reconciling supplier accounts with statements and resolving queries·Processing payment runs·Processing purchase orders·Ensuring compliance·Month end process·Supporting the Finance Team with other adhoc tasks
EXPERIENCE·Experience of working in a fast paced purchase ledger environment·Good IT skills - Competent in Microsoft Office·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal·Able to work to strict deadlines in a pro-active manner·Be organised and able to work on own initiative
