My client, a leading Accountancy firm with a network of offices covering a wide region, providing services to the small business market are seeking to employ Apprentice or Trainee Accounting Technicians.You may be a School or College leaver seeking an apprentice opportunity to grow a career within an Accounting Practice environment and be motivated to complete your AAT Studies and progress within the organisation as your experience grows.Alternatively you may be currently studying AAT at any level or working within an Accounting environment and want a trainee opportunity to develop within an Accounting Practice.

The post is based in St Asaph, although once full training received, with a variety of offices around Prestatyn/Flint/Colwyn Bay/Llandudno you may be required to be flexible on your location and you should have a driving licence and a vehicle due to occasional requirement to mobilise between offices.

You will have the opportunity to do your AAT studies at college one day per week.

Once trained, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business clients providing accounting services including bookkeeping, VAT, payroll , Accounts production, self assessment tax returns (Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Ltd Companies).

You will be comfortable talking to small business owners about their accounting records and tax returns and ensuring deadlines are met.

You will be fully supported with training and development, and you will have vast opportunities to grow and develop within the organisation.

The salary will commence at a level between £10,000-£13,000 depending on current studies level plus a 20% bonus, and an opportunity to grow this salary over a very short period of time as your experience develops.

You will also receive a pension and private bupa health care in addition to other standard benefits.
