Incident Response Analyst / Consultant / Specialist

About the Role:

Goodman Masson are currently working on multiple Incident Response vacancies at all levels with specialist Cyber Threat Investigations firms across London. They are looking for individuals who can deliver investigation and incident response services to their clients, with a particular focus on advanced targeted attacks, which could cover forensic investigations, malware analysis and reverse engineering, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond and contain security incidents such as crimeware, data breaches, advanced targeted attacks.
  • Conduct malware analysis activities through behavioural techniques, as well as static and dynamic analysis.
  • Conduct file-system analysis, finding and extracting common disk-based indicators of compromise.
  • Conduct deep-dive network forensic investigations and analysis.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences up to C-Level.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience responding to and containing incidents and advanced attacks, following a standard incident handling lifecycle.
  • Knowledge and experience conducting malware analysis, reverse engineering and forensic investigations.
  • Previous experience working in a CSIRT, SOC or Investigations team.
  • Recognised qualification in Incident Response / Cyber Forensics:
  • GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GCED, CFCE, CCE, CIFI, CHFI, ECIH, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to make real-time key decisions under pressure.
