A Construction Solicitor job in London, within a leading national law firm.

Your new company

This public services law firm is a national leader, with offices in London and across England, which allows it to liaise with its extensive client base and target widespread markets. The firm provides advisory, consultation and outsourcing services to organisations operating in the public, private and third sectors, in health, infrastructure and leisure, among others. With extensive experience working with clients in both public and private sectors, and at the interface between the two, they look towards further expansion, which is why they are searching for an ambitious solicitor or associate to join their construction and engineering team.

Your new role

You will work for both public and private sector clients, dealing predominantly with non-contentious matters. You will liaise with clients to provide commercially-focused advice, working independently and as part of a team. You will work on a number of major construction projects and have the opportunity to progress your career quickly.

What you'll need to succeed

The firm are seeking UK Qualified Solicitors with 2-5 years post qualification employment experience, principally in private practice; however other experience levels will be taken into account. Ideally, you should have extensive experience working on non-contentious matters, but experience in a mixed-role will also be considered.

You should be technically strong, demonstrating excellent drafting and legal analysis skills. As well as being able to work independently and manage your own time, you need to be an enthusiastic team player, as you will be working as part of a larger team. You should also have some previous experience of supervising junior colleagues or trainees. Ambition for personal progression and to be involved in the further expansion of the team will be rewarded.
