Temporary Part-Time Bookkeeper – South Oxfordshire – c.£13 per hour (depending on skills and experience) plus holiday pay – ref: 16650

Your Job

Our client is looking for a candidate to fulfil the role of Book Keeper on a temporary basis. This will be initially for around a two-month period but with the potential to be ongoing and longer term for the ideal candidate.

In order to fulfil this role successfully, you will be a self-starter who is able to learn quickly, since there is limited time for extensive training to be given.

Duties involved:

This role requires a candidate who can cope well with variety, since the tasks assigned include:

  • Dealing with and processing bank reconciliations
  • Coordinating a variety of administrative tasks
  • Ensuring that bookkeeping work is carried out comprehensively and to an exceptional standard
  • Assisting with other finance duties as appropriate

Job Requirements

You must have previous working knowledge of Sage and be able to use this with ease.

To succeed in this company, you will need to be have a great working attitude and be willing to get stuck in to the working culture. This includes being an excellent team player and self-starter.

You will be able to prioritise tasks appropriately so work is carried out efficiently and that deadlines are met appropriately.

You will have a high attention to detail, allowing information and data to be handled accurately and meticulously.

The ability to communicate with others on different levels, including orally and in writing, is highly desirable due to the variety of colleagues you will be liaising with.

You will be able to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining a high standard of work produced.

It is highly advantageous if you are strong willed and able to stand your ground when faced with challenges, in order to find feasible solutions.
