Finance Manager - Leading Manufacturing Company - £25,000 - £35,000 per annum - Tewkesbury -Hays Accountancy

Hays Accountancy & Finance are being exclusively retained to recruit for a Dynamic and Hands-on Finance Manager for a growing, well-established international manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury. Reporting into the Finance Director and Managing Director , this is a newly appointed position due to the business's market success. A great opportunity to really add value to a small finance function and improve/implement new procedures/processes as the business grows further.

Your new role

Your key duties will include Management Accounts preparation, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset register. You will manage the purchase and sales ledger processing for the organisation along with credit control, cash flow and budgetary monitoring. You will be expected to process all payroll, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, intrastate, EC sales list and general finance administration. You will be involved in ad-hoc financial reporting and projects to support the Finance Director/Managing Director when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

For this hands-on and exciting Finance Manager opportunity you will need experience within a similar finance position, with a dynamic working approach and key MS Excel knowledge. You must have strong communication skills to liaise with senior management and external bodies whilst being able to take ownership of your own workloads. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered. It would be advantageous if you have worked within manufacturing sector with Sage systems experience.
