Residential Conveyancing Paralegal - Bournemouth

Salary dependent on experience

A highly reputable firm are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their dedicated Residential Conveyancing team in Bournemouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Paralegal to develop their career within a supportive and thriving legal practice.

You will have autonomy to assist the fee earners and manage your own caseload in a variety of matters to include Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages, Transfer of Equity and Shared Ownership matters.

Duties will include:

  • Taking client instruction and drafting Terms of Engagement letters
  • Audio typing from digital dictation
  • Obtaining title from the Land Registry
  • Assisting with sending out Pre-Contract Packs including Property Information Forms and Fixtures, Fittings and Contents Form
  • Assisting with pre-contract enquiries / raising enquiries
  • Conducting necessary Property Searches
  • Assisting with Reports on Title
  • Drafting relevant legal documentation to include Contracts, Transfers and Leases
  • Preparing matter for exchange including liaison with the Client and Lender
  • Conducting all pre-completion searches to include OS1 and K16
  • Dealing with Solicitors Accounts to include CHAPS payments and TT Transfers
  • Drafting Invoices and Completion Statements
  • Dealing with all post completion duties to include Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns
  • Drafting Application for First Registration at the Land Registry
  • Scheduling deeds and archiving matters
