Your new role
You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial and IT contracts which will include data protection issues. The firm has one of the UK's largest sector dedicated commercial, IT and outsourcing teams so you will be advising clients from a broad range of sectors which will include retail, food and drink, pharma, financial services and telecoms. You will advise mainly private sector clients but will be exposed to public sector project work. You will be involved in large scale and ground breaking outsourcing projects for household business clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university, demonstrate a solid track record of advising on commercial contracts work, with at least 1-3 year's post qualification experience within a private practice team. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to commercial law as a legal specialism. You will need to work well in a team and have experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships will also be advantageous.
