My client, an international travel business, are due to expansion, are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Group Finance team at their head office in Purfleet, Essex.

Joining a finance team of 15+, you will be taking care of the following amongst other duties;

• Code and file purchase invoices.

• Posting of payments to ledgers for retail and wholesale business.

• Request credit notes from suppliers and resolve any Purchase Ledger queries. Preparing and processing payment runs.

• Posting journals.

• Liaising with different departments and Directors.

• General ad hoc accounts work within the Department.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, either within industry of from a practise environment & have full working knowledge of the SAGE accountancy package, ideally SAGE 200.

The role is full time and permanent and will accommodate an immediate start for the right candidate. The base salary will be up to £20,000, reviewed annually. You will also get discounts on selected products across the group and 30 days annual leave inc bank holidays.
