Science Physics Teacher needed to cover a Maternity Leave starting in November in Cheltenham.


Your new school

Is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Cheltenham. The school moved to its present site in the early 1970s. There are currently approximately 1,700 pupils in the school and 400 in the sixth form. The school are intensely proud of our vibrant and forward looking school community. Their core belief is that every student develops the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to become the best they can be.

Your new role

You will be required to teach Physic's up to KS5. This is a full-time, maternity cover position to begin in January. The Science department is well resourced and continues to be one of the most successful departments within the school. With an excellent support network and a mixture of experience this role would suit NQTs as well as experienced teachers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a confident and professional teacher with recent experience of teaching Physics's at least to KS5 level. You'll need to be committed and passionate about teaching and have the drive and desire to make a positive and lasting impact on the students learning whilst being able to maintain the highest standards.
