Currently recruiting for a Purchase ledger clerk to join a biotech company based West of Cambridge.

The role will be supporting a busy finance team but have a focus on AP. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be well organised. It is important to have previous experience of purchase ledger and be capable of working independently and within a team. Day to day responsibilities are as follows;

-Invoice processing, GRN matching & review and PO review
-To assist in month/quarter/year-end process and liaise with internal and external auditors
-Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations
-Processing bank transactions for UK entities
-Entry into and report generation from timesheet recording system
-Intercompany reconciliations
-Assist in maintaining credit card and petty cash records and reconciliations
-To maintain supplier relationships and prepare payment schedules

Other tasks are administration and maintenance of filing systems and further support to the supervisor.
