Qualified Accountant - Construction Sector

My client is looking for a fully qualified accountant (with a relevant background within the sector) to join their well-established accountancy firm in Liverpool City Centre. With a wealth of talent, infrastructure and funding being pumped into the new North West HQ, this is an opportune time to join the business.

General responsibilities include:

  • Cost and budget analysis skills, including cost-to-date and cost-to-complete analysis and forecasting. Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis a plus.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential budget and scope change impacts.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with both internal and external clients.
  • Identify value added services to BU leaders, Project Managers and Accounting Management.
  • Handle complex projects and tasks and work closely day to day with the project managers and other project/service accountants.

    The ideal candidate for this role will need a clear drive to strive for success within the business as the client wants key members who will be progressing to more senior roles in the near future. ACA/ACCA fully qualified is a necessity in order to be considered for the role.
