Purchase Ledger Clerk - 6 month contract
Optimum Recruitment Group is currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6 month fixed term contract for our client based in York.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the purchase ledger invoices and ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner.
You must have a proven track record of working within this remit previously.
Duties include:- Process invoices onto Sage - Code invoices to appropriate cost centres - Authorisation for invoices processed - Weekly payment runs - Query handling - Reconciliation tasks
You must: - Be numerate with excellent attention to detail - Have strong excel skills - Be used to working within a high volume transaction processing role - Be a team player
