Your new role
In your new Politics teaching role you will enjoy working within this 'Outstanding' 6th Form College in the Brighton and Hove area. You will be teaching AS/A1 level Politics to a number of classes on a full time basis till the end of term. Working as a Politics teacher with Hays will also allow you to have access to a number of partnership schools that would be inaccessible by any other means, and you will be given the opportunity to focus on teaching in the Key Stage that you specialise in.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Further Education Politics Teacher you will need to have a Further Education Certificate or Qualified Teacher Status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience teaching Politics within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
