Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller - Slough - initial 8 week contract (long term extension possible - Up to £12.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller to work for an exciting IT company based in Slough on an initial 8 week contract with a strong possibility of extension.

Our client also offers a range of benefits from day one and is looking for candidates that are would like to grow with the business. Candidates with accounts experience are highly desirable for this role. This role will turn around quickly so candidates who are immediately available are desirable however this is not essential.


  • Manage a ledger of 500+ live accounts
  • Responsible for the regular chasing of overdue invoices by phone and email
  • To be able to keep accurate records of each contact with customers
  • Be able to work unsupervised, and show high levels on initiative when dealing with customers / internal processes
  • Intermediate level of Excel
  • Accurate weekly / monthly cash collection forecasting
  • Accurate cash allocation skills
  • To be able to liaise with various internal departments and customers ensuring invoices are paid whilst be aware of commercial relationship.

    Skills and experience:

  • Previous credit control experience
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Accounts experience is highly desirable
