Our aim is to place you at a school that would benefit your future career plans which would include arranging and coordinating your trial day. We aim to make this process as stress free and time efficient as possible.
You would ideally have some previous experience working with children, but not necessarily in a school, and have a 1st or 2:1 degree. You should be a patient person ideally suited to be a teaching assistant, assigned specifically to the Maths department. An ideal candidate is an ambitious graduate who can empathise with their students and will be an enthusiastic addition to the school environment.
This Maths Teaching Assistant role involves you working specifically within the schools supportive Maths department. You will be receiving dedicated support from a thriving maths department who will be there to support you from your very first day. You will be working to develop your abilities with the help of the school's training & development plan and providing the occasional cover lesson after a period of training.
The School based in the borough of Sutton has an excellent reputation across the borough and boasts fantastic GCSE and A-level results. It has run a hugely successful graduate teaching programme for a number of years now and offers fantastic support to those on it.
