The successful Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager will prepare all Bank of England and FCA/PRA statistical and supervisory returns and prepare COREP templates for submission to the PRA/EBA.

My client is a global Canadian Bank with offices in London where this role will be based.

Description

The successful Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager will have the following responsibilities:

* Prepare all Bank of England and FCA/PRA statistical and supervisory returns

* Prepare COREP templates for submission to the PRA/EBA

* Prepare Operational Risk and Settlement/Delivery Risk COREP template for submission to the PRA/EBA

* Prepare Securitisation COREP templates for submission to the PRA/EBA

* Provide Leverage MIS for the EXCO and Risk Committee,

* Analyse the regulatory impact of new business proposals. This includes assessing the impact on Capital Usage and the Leverage ratio

* Responsible for reviewing all statistical notices received from the Bank of England and providing written evaluation to Senior Management on the impact of the changes

* The incumbent will be the principal subject matter expert for movement queries received from the Bank of England.

* Provide cover for the daily Large Exposure and Capital routines

* Provide cover for the production of the weekly FSA047/48 FCA regulatory return and the reconciliation process

* Ensure that all procedures developed adhere to the bank's End User Computing guidelines

* Develop additional controls and process enhancements to improve the accuracy and quality of the regulatory reporting processes. To ensure that these controls meet the requirements of the Regulatory Risk and Controls framework.

* Assist with the maintenance of the OneSumX regulatory reporting software by reviewing static data, helping with UAT and acceptance testing of regulatory reporting software upgrades and investigating discrepancies

* Ensure all communications are succinct and clear for recipients.

Profile

The successful Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager will have the following attributes:

* Good working knowledge of BIPRU, CRDIV and Bank of England rules.

* Knowledge of the regulatory reporting package OneSumX would be preferential.

* Skilled in written and verbal communication.
