Senior Marketing Manager - Telesales

We are looking for a Senior Campaign Manager with strong experience in Telesales campaigns. Reporting directly into our engaging Head of Marketing Communications (with interaction with senior stakeholders) and the chance to own, devise and deliver the marketing strategy and plans for all campaigns.

Purpose of the Role

  • To support the delivery of agreed sales revenue by devising and delivering targeted Marketing campaigns, promotions and offers direct to prospective customers.
  • Deliver long term profitable growth by delivering campaigns that drive an ROI through increase in volume of products and litres drawn. Achieve this by working with the Telesales channel on delivering the long term strategy through acquisition.


  • Devise and deliver the marketing strategy and plans for the Telesales channel, operating within the agreed marketing budget with a strong commercial focus to deliver campaign ROI as well as long term growth opportunities
  • Help inspire all relevant business areas to support the achievement of the telesales channel business goals
  • Liaise with the relevant teams to ensure that products and service meet customer needs
  • Personally deliver acquisition, cross-sales, upsell and retention marketing campaigns
  • Act as a two way communications and feedback conduit to inform future product and service opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Be the ?voice of the customer?, and challenge internally where appropriate

Lifecycle Communications

  • Market, product, competitor updates
  • On-boarding collateral
  • Sales tools, incentives, giveaways
  • Case studies
  • Customer engagement communications such as newsletters articles
  • Optimise the use of the budget committed to telesales

What we need from you:

  • Ideally educated to degree level, with relevant qualifications in Marketing
  • Success creating and developing campaign within a large matrixed B2B or B2C business with a strong focus on;
    • Telemarketing - Essential
    • Product Management
    • Market Strategy and delivery of plans
    • Marketing experience at management level
  • Numerical and Analytical skills
  • Any experience of Salesforce, Dotmailer, Fuel/Purchasing cards an advantage
