The Teaching Assistant role would see you working under the guidance of head of English, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, many of the students that you will work with will be at that critical C/D grade borderline but some may be overachieving and working with material above their year group. Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers.

London schools have a proven track record of working with graduates, giving them the required skills and experience to become future 'Outstanding' teachers! Most have teacher training programmes and use this as a 'foundation year' to progress onto teacher training the following year.
