DARS Data Architect

Grade 8: £39,992 - £47,722 per annum with possible extension to £52,132

This role provides the opportunity to engage with data architecture in a world-leading University, and help deliver a challenging and important part of an enterprise architecture for the University of Oxford. The Development Office has an advanced customer relationship management system, known as the Development and Alumni Relations System (DARS), which supports development and alumni relations activity across the University and colleges, providing a common source of data on all alumni, donors and friends of the collegiate University.

The successful applicant will have proven data analysis, modelling and reporting experience gained from working with a complex business application portfolio, including logical data structure design and data integration. You will demonstrate a good understanding of the need for data policies, data governance and standards in documenting and managing data, and your role will be instrumental in defining and implementing these for DARS. You will also have the confidence, communication skills and diplomacy required to promote the use and adoption of these policies and standards across the DARS user community, and the management skills to lead and motivate your team. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you can provide clear and consistent attention to detail in face-to-face communication, written documentation, and architecture diagrams.

Only applications received before 12.00 noon on Friday 24th November 2017 can be considered. You will be required to upload a letter of application as part of your online application. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on Wednesday 6th December 2017.
