Sales Manager - Escrow

As a Barclays Sales Manager (Escrow) you will be part of a dedicated, customer focused team, driving sales in Escrow products across the Barclays Group and directly to third party clients. Escrow is a new product initiative for Global Transactional Banking (GTB) and has been developed under the auspices of our Banking Coverage team. You will be a creative and innovative thinker, with experience within the Escrow space, from working in Agency Services or a previous Escrow Sales role, and you will be motivated and with the drive to effect change. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop a new area under the umbrella of the wider Barclays GTB team.

About us:
Global Transaction Banking is part of Origination in Barclays Corporate Bank. As well as owning our international offices, we are responsible for managing the Corporate Bank's relationships with Global Corporates, Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions.

As a Sales Manager (Escrow), your main responsibilities will involve:
- The further development of our Escrow product offering by working in conjunction with the Liquidity product team to develop enhancements and make the product commercially viable
- The marketing of Escrow internally across the Barclays Group including Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Wealth Management teams
- The marketing of Escrow externally to financial intermediaries, including law firms and financial advisors
- Working with the Head of Escrow to deliver the revenue plan through new business development and leveraging existing internal opportunities
- Building and maintain strong relationships with internal and external deal referral sources and ensure continuous engagement with key stakeholders

As a Sales Manager (Escrow), your skills and qualifications will include:
- Significant experience with Escrow, either in product management or Sales, or within Agency Services
- Good knowledge of Escrow product landscape, including the various uses of Escrow and competitor offering in the UK
- Being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive to build a new customer base for the product
- Highly effective communicator, able to deal with complex transactions involving senior internal and external executives with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Acting as a client champion, steering time-sensitive deals through the bank with a sense of urgency
- Understanding operational and compliance risk, especially related to cross border transactions
