SQL Data Lead Developer â?? Belfast - £40,000 to £50,000

2i Resourcing are working with a leading client of ours to source a SQL Data Lead Developer to join their expanding team. The team is just starting a new and exciting projects and is looking to increase its development team

Our client is a leading professional services and business process outsourcing company and their Digital and Software Solutions division is one of the biggest in the UK who provides software products and analytical services to a wide variety of customers in the UK and beyond.

You will design, develop & maintain efficient, repeatable and appropriately-scaled solutions in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, Integration Services and related tools, to support data cleansing, migration and reconciliation activity whilst also defining & documenting the requirements (including non-technical ones) of data migration solutions. You will take the Lead in client data workshops and also work alongside the Report Development team to generate reports within SSRS using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Data Tools.


  • SQL development in a dynamic, cost-aware environment
  • Large, complex data migration projects
  • Worked as part of a software development team
  • Full software development life cycle experience, including design, testing, deployment, documentation and support activities

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014
  • T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services and ETL processes and patterns
  • Data modelling, data management and data manipulation, code management and version control
  • SQL Server Reporting Services with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Data Tools
  • Performance-tuning tips and techniques for SQL Server databases
  • SQL Server Database Administrator skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements and create software solutions that work within agreed technical designs
