Opportune time for talented Catastrophic Injury Solicitor with multi-track PI experience to join progressive Crawley firm. Overall, building and maintaining client relationships is a founding principle of this well-established firm. Owing to continued success, our client is now looking to hire a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to work in its Crawley office and have the flexibility to work in the firm`s additional and commutable office when required. The main office is located in Crawley, a historic West Sussex town which is well-established in the legal framework, and has good rail and road transport links. The Role Do you possess two to three years` PQE of multi-track personal injury work and a talent for comprehensively understanding clients` needs? This is an opportune time to join our client as a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor managing your own caseload of claims from inception to completion as well as supporting Partners with maximum value claims. The successful Solicitor will undertake an array of duties predominantly but not exclusively in brain injury and complex orthopaedic cases resulting from: RTAs; accidents concerning pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists; occupational disease; criminal injuries; medical and professional negligence; accidents concerning all transport methods and; occupiers` and employers` liability. Additionally, you will be expected to organise rehabilitation and support for your clients from the start of the case. Business development is a feature of the role, so experience in networking and marketing is advantageous. The Candidate To be considered for this role: You must be a qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years` PQE in multi-track personal injury work. You will be able to pre-empt issues and exceed client expectations. You will be IT proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Working knowledge of case management systems is desirable. You will possess accreditation from the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and The Law Society Personal Injury Panel. You will possess a driver`s license and have access to your own transport. You will be commercially aware. You will excel in client communication and in building and sustaining relationships. Business development experience is essential. You will work well under pressure with limited supervision, meeting fee targets and tight deadlines.
