Senior Product Developer - Peterborough

Versatile developer required to join my clients expanding development team working on enhancements to our award winning software.

Required Skills:

  • Very strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Object-oriented design and programming principles.
  • STL Libraries.
  • Ability to programme in a multi-threaded environment.
  • Network-centric apps using TCP/IP and sockets.
  • Windows (Win32 API/MFC).
  • QL Database experience.
  • Ability to produce tight, lean code that is easy to maintain.
  • Ability to balance quality against tight release schedules.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, without supervision and be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, at peer and Director level.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain close working relationships with team colleagues as well as QA, Technical Support and Marketing teams
  • Flexibility and willingness to put in extra time and work when required.
  • Ability to think laterally regarding new features and how they are best implemented.
  • High degree of accuracy and ability to take responsibility for own output in ensuring output is of the highest standard and works first time, every time.

Manager: Development Director

Salary: £50-55K depending on experience

Holiday: 23 days - rising to maximum 27 after appropriate length of service

Location: Market Deeping, Peterborough.

For the last 25 years my client has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions to aid in the management of desktop computers and their users, including our award winning remote control products that are available in over 90 countries worldwide and currently support over 11 million desktops, servers and mobile devices. My client is based in Market Deeping, Peterborough UK and all our products are developed in-house. The company has offices around the world and sells direct and through an international channel of partners.
