We are looking for a Direct Trading Marketing Executive for our established FS client, they are interested in candidates with a strong marketing background for this position based in London at least 3 days per week. Other two days in Bristol.

You will be a capable strategist, passionate about marketing and up for a challenge. Working in a vibrant, challenging B2B marketing department with a co-ordinated approach to marketing and strategy covering UK general insurance, health care and life businesses. You?ll be working as a Manager in the corporate direct trading team. In this role you will support the marketing led contribution to the corporate business targets. The team will create and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy and plan that meets commercial and strategic objectives in the large corporate and SME markets across Life, Health and GI lines.

The team will focus on:

  • Direct trading campaigns to acquire and grow ?businesses? (SME & large corporates), campaigns to grow and retain workplace customers and campaigns and interventions to deliver Workplace (large corporate and SME) retention targets

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop clear, credible and consistent marketing communications delivery of our key messages using activity across the marketing mix, with a specific focus on digital channels
  • Develop improved data marketing capability (data management and campaign automation) working with the corporate digital performance, channel optimisation and broader UK Digital and direct teams
  • Create a clear measurement framework for assessing campaign performance, working with the channel performance team ? and provide tactical performance updates as required
  • Build strong, collaborative working relationships with key Distribution teams to ensure commercial credibility of the team and clear understanding of required outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with Digital teams and our media partner agency to ensure both marketing activity and digital journeys are optimised to drive optimal return on investment

Skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge and experience of multi-channel marketing
  • Experience of end-to-end marketing delivery with proven personal ownership of campaigns
  • Strong experience of identifying and leading innovative marketing activity
  • Proven track record for communications delivery, on time and to budget
  • Excellent planning and proactive stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of key marketing metrics and focus on trading performance
  • Strong planning and proactive stakeholder management
  • Deep understanding of SME market
  • Broad understanding of life, general insurance and health insurance markets and a deep understanding of the products and their relevance for SME and large corporate customers
  • Understanding of marketing planning processes
  • Practical and theoretical understanding of marketing performance levers and framework including experience in analysing marketing performance across the following categories: Direct response, B2B, Brand / ATL, Operational (NPS etc)
  • Business degree or equivalent
  • Relevant marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM) or studying towards
