We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Transformation Consultant to join our Strategy Consulting practice across the UK.

The Role

As a Digital Transformation Consultant, you’ll work with clients to understand today’s business requirements and how tomorrow’s digital solutions will meet them. You will be responsible for the creation and integration of digital solutions for clients and client teams, working closely with clients to understand their business goals and how to translate them into appropriate digital strategies and solution designs


As a Digital Transformation Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with numerous clients across a range of sectors. Working at a strategic level within organisations, you will be able to use your knowledge, skills and experience to help clients understand the opportunities and benefits offered by digital solutions, particularly in the areas of digital technology enablement, data and digital system infrastructure.

The typical responsibilities of a Digital Transformation Consultant include:

  • Design and develop client strategies around digital solutions
  • Assist in the development of business cases for new digital transformation projects;
  • Own the digital solution roadmap and blueprints, and drive sign-off on the solution;
  • Analysis and design of key user journeys, user acquisition and conversion;
  • Lead digital transformation assessments at client sites with key client stakeholders, which includes as is/to be designed sessions and documentation to enable solution development;
  • Design the integration with other digital-related systems such as eCommerce, CRM, supply chain, and payment providers;
  • Act as an interface with the delivery organisation to ensure effective transition, shape services and determine appropriate service delivery locations and related costs;
  • Partner and team with solution providers and agencies to deliver the best solution meeting the needs of our clients;
  • Lead development of proposals in new sales activities;
  • Contribute to business development and internal knowledge sharing initiatives
Essential Skills and Experience

  • A good understanding of the full range of digital technology options, and how they can integrate (e.g. web-based, mobile, Apps, social, rich content, Ad services, email, data, CRM, ERP, Online payments, E-commerce, hosting, CDN, CMS, Integrated marketing systems, automation, personalisation and behavioural targeting.);
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party systems such as APIs, data services, payment providers, analytics, supply chain, warehouse, fulfilment and CRM;
  • A background in coding one or more major web development languages and / or frameworks (e.g. PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Java, Python, XML, CSS, Ruby, C++ or C);
  • Understanding of UX, web performance, cross-browser testing standards and online content formatting, including smart-phone and other devices;
  • Understanding of online encryption and security in relation to digital technologies, systems, databases and services;
  • Experience of digital / online web standards, governance,
  • Experience of source control, SCM, code bases, version control, bug reporting and tracking services and standards;
  • A good understanding of general web standards such as W3C, WCAG, Section 508 standards, accessibility, usability, mark-up language standards validation and Googles Developer guidance;
  • Strength in mobile standards for web delivery including device detection, frameworks, scaffolding, break-points, industry standards and responsive design and development.
