** SEN Teacher - KS2 Teacher Or Secondary English Teacher - 11-16 year old Alternative Provision - EBD/BESD - PRU - Teaching Yr7s and Yr8s **
Great SEN Teacher opportunity for dynamic KS2 Teacher or secondary English Teacher to join a supportive team of teaching professionals at a very successful Alternative Provision in South London for an immediate start on a permanent basis.
The Unit provides full time education for 11-16 year olds boys and girls with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) who have been referred from the Local Authority due to being excluded from mainstream provision. The provision is large compared to other provisions and can cater for over 100 students at capacity. It benefits from a brand new building and state-of-the-art facilities. We are now looking for an additional SEN Teacher to start immediately or early November.
This would suit a primary qualified KS2 teacher who is strong with behavioural management and would be keen on teaching students who are slightly older (11-13 year olds). They have missed a lot of school so will be learning at Key Stage 2 level, so experience as a KS2 teacher would be beneficial to the role. Alternatively this would suit a secondary qualified English Teacher who has experience teaching students with moderate learning difficulties. The successful SEN Teacher will have proven ability in engaging challenging young people and motivating underachieving pupils, whether this be within mainstream schools or within Alternative Provision, PRU or special school.
If you are a qualified KS2 teacher or English teacher and this sounds like an SEN Teacher opportunity you would be interested in for an immediate start, then please send your CV for consideration and we will be in touch to discuss if your experience meets the criteria we are looking for.
