Due to an internal move, an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Operations Manager has arisen. This key leadership role will lead and develop a team to ensure our airport's engineering operations runs smoothly and our customers have a great journey.
MAG is the country’s largest airport group. We own Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth Airports. However, our airports are so much more than the place where your holiday starts! This role seeks a pro-active individual who can lead teams to their full potential. We are seeking an individual with a continuous improvement mind-set who actively seeks ways to improve delivery to customers and achieve excellence in operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will need excellent engineering management experience and a strong desire to add-value. This role will ensure all planned and reactive work is completed whilst meeting quality, time and cost targets. Finally, the successful candidate will partner the business in meeting financial targets and hold responsibility to manage budget within your core area.
As the successful candidate you will have proven experience in leading teams within an engineering operational environment. An engineering qualification is highly desirable alongside a real passion to improve the customer experience. You will have a high energy/ can-do attitude and be able to deliver on time and to the highest standard. We will give you the support, skills and tools that you need to be successful if you can bring the drive, personality and desire.
What we offer
Stansted offers a competitive salary plus 17.5% shift allowance alongside various benefits including a bonus scheme, free staff parking or up to 80% of bus/train commuting costs. This role is offered on a shift basis and typical shift patterns include two day shifts, followed by two night shifts, followed by four days off.
