Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased)
We are currently assisting a leading manufacturer to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance engineer, who is electrically biased to join their engineering team due to retirement.
The main purpose of the role will support the Engineering team to ensure all electrical infrastructure and mechanical infrastructure is maintained and available for plant use.
You'll work closely with both the mechanical and electrical in an advisory capacity.
You'll advise and have an active involvement in any electrical and mechanical breakdowns and faults across the site on the usual equipment found within a manufacturing plant environment. (furnaces, boilers, CNC Machines, Fans, Gas Burners, etc)
You'll also interact with SCADA and PLC control systems to resolve any issues.
You'll also provide cover for the electrical and mechanical supervisors as required covering absences, holidays, training, etc.
You'll be involved in the sites Energy Management Strategy.
You will hold the following qualifications (Essential);
- 17th Edition & 2391
- Recognised Apprenticeship (multi-skilled or electrical biased)
You will have a good working knowledge of SCADA and PLC Control systems
You will have some exposure to Continuous Improvement activities.
