RnD Software Intern
Honeywell?s Building Technologies division is moving fast towards the future of connected commercial buildings. To support these developments we are seeking talented software developers to join our team.
We are looking for a C# developer responsible for building scalable cloud-based C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. The primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Our initial drive will be to prototype ideas and show proof of concepts as quickly as possible, but the project will evolve into turning our code into a proficient production quality product.
The position is an intern post with a duration of 12 months.
? Building a future platform for building connectivity
? Develop storyboards translated from customer?s requirements
? Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
? Prototype, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
? Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
? Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
? Capable in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and wanting to excel in C#
? Familiarity with the .NET framework or Java
? Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
? Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
? Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
? Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
? Capable of writing clean, readable C# code
? Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
? Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
? Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
? Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
? Understanding of code versioning tools : Github or SVN
? Familiarity with continuous integration
? Ability to work closely and productively with an enthusiastic global team.
