Ashley Community Housing is an exceptional organisation that provides housing services for those in our society and those who have been displaced to the UK who need help the most. We are now looking for a Careers Adviser to join our team in Bristol.

Within an engaging environment, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on individuals throughout the Bristol area and enable them to achieve their professional and educational aspirations.

As a Careers Adviser, you will provide careers advice to adults at venues throughout Bristol.

In this important role, you will provide advice to adults at community venues, as well as in the Ashley Community Housing Job Club. You will advise individuals face-to-face, via telephone, email and other digital means to help them achieve their work or learning goals.

Additionally, you will:

- Support individuals to develop their career management skills
- Develop relationships with community venues and charities throughout Bristol
- Represent and promote Ashley Community Housing services

Interested? While no experience is required, the ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of delivering careers advice to employed and unemployed adults, individually or in groups
- At a minimum, a Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice or NVQ 4 in Advice & Guidance or equivalent
- A degree level qualification
- A driving licence

Patient and articulate, as a Careers Adviser, you will be enthusiastic and able to motivate and inspire others. You?ll also have a positive, proactive approach and the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
