The Role We are now seeking a highly organised and personable Legal Secretary to join our client`s flourishing and CQS-accredited Residential Conveyancing team in Portsmouth. As part of a dedicated department, the successful Legal Secretary will provide comprehensive support to lawyers with duties to include; diary management; audio typing; liaison with clients and external professionals; file opening and closing; document production; routine aspects of conveyancing transactions and; telephony. The ideal Legal Secretary will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload with minimal supervision. You must have excellent technical and organisational skills. You will be IT literate, ideally with experience in the use of case management systems and BigHand digital dictation. You will have a fast and accurate typing speed. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
