Learning Support Assistant
Psychology graduates needed
Must have 1st or 2:1 grades
Newham, East London
Large 3 Form Entry Primary School
November start
Earn £325 to £350 per week
Full time post - Monday to Friday

Based in Newham, East London - this lovely and caring primary school requires a learning support assistant to join the school in the first week of November.

The role is a 1-2-1 ASD position with a bright and independent boy who will be entering year 4. The headteacher and the school SENCO feel that a dedicated graduate LSA will be an ideal addition to the team.

As this young man is quite an independent learner, you will have to make yourself useful while he is moving forward off his own steam - you will support the class teacher and help other children with all manner of educational support. You will swiftly learn the triggers that will signal your intervention.

During your tenure as a learning support assistant you will have access to and be encouraged to pick up training offered by the school. The training will not only support you in this role but could offer you an insight into what pathway your future career will take.

You will liaise with the parents and help support the outcomes for this young and happy man in and out of the school.

The school is happy to consider learning support assistants with little or no experience - the SENCo is confident that the training and development that they can offer will give you the skills required to make the right impact.

You must hold a 1st or 2:1 grade degree and matching A-Levels and GCSE's. This is an excellent opportunity for a future educational, clinical or child psychologist.
