OR Are you an experienced SEN TA?Do you have SEN experience, in a School or other setting?Do you have the drive & passion to continue your support assisting SEN children at Primary level?A Primary School that I currently work with in Southwark is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant and is specifically looking for a individual who has some experience previously supporting SEN children or young adults.It is vital that an individual has an understanding of SEN as the role will entail working 1:1 with an SEN pupil who requires tailored and dedicated support, with the aim to raise their attainment and behaviour as much as possible this academic year.The pupil has Autism so it is vital that the right candidate is confident supporting them, in what can be such a challenging but ultimately rewarding position. Knowledge of Autism is essential as this child has a purposely designed and tailored learning plan to ensure they reach their own targets at the end of the year.The position is for an immediate start, with the view for settled in and motivated candidates to continue until July 2018 or potentially into the next academic year also.This SEN Teaching Assistant position is an excellent position for a individual with a passion for SEN.The School is part of an impressive group of local Schools within Southwark and aims to progress children in a positive path, not only academically but socially and emotionally.
