Suffolk legal practice seeks Family Solicitor for maternity cover contract.

Our well-regarded client is a progressive legal practice based in Suffolk providing a select range of legal services to individual and businesses. Staffed by a team who are well known for their expertise in niche areas of law, they deliver excellent legal advice finding the best possible outcome in each individual situation. Offering a fun vibrant working environment, they are now seeking a Family Solicitor.

The Role

Our reputable client is seeking to recruit a Family Solicitor for their Bury St Edmunds office. The position is offered on contract basis to cover maternity leave. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered for this position. The role will suitable for applications from either qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives from NQ to 4 years` experience. The position will be handling a caseload of family law matters including divorce, co-habitation disputes, financial settlement, pre-nuptial agreements, children disputes and domestic violence. The role will involve advocacy, ADR and mediation. It would be advantageous to have experience in business development. There will be a competitive salary package for this Family Solicitor position. The Candidate

You will :-
Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive;
Have from NQ - 4 years` PQE;
Have a solid academic background;
Have experience in family law within a well-regarded firm;
Have strong technical drafting and negotiating skills;
Be organised and detailed;
Have excellent communication and client care skills.
