This secondary school in Wolverhampton are looking for an ambitious and career-minded Geography graduate to join their department to work with students with a range of abilities.

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Russell Group Graduate- 2:1 or higher
  • Wolverhampton, West Midlands
  • Starting ASAP, Interviews being arranged
  • Ideal Pre-teacher training experience

  • Up to £300 per week

This role requires a graduate with a Geography degree, who has obtained a minimum of a 2:1. You must be an enthusiastic individual who possesses passion in your subject and who would like to pass on your knowledge and enthusiasm to a variety of young people. You should be able to demonstrate progression whilst working with pupils, along with a willingness to get stuck in and take on learning opportunities for yourself and other.

You will be working with students with a range of abilities and ages, however you will predominately be working closely with GCSE students across the Humanities department who need further support to reach the critical C grade. You may also be required to support A Levels students to help them through their exams in Geography and keep them motivated throughout the process.

You will joining is a committed, successful and a forward-thinking Humanities department. The teaching team all possess outstanding subject knowledge and are able to consistently teach inspirational lessons, so they are looking for someone that will share the same passion and have the energy and enthusiasm to continue this.
