Our Client is a global engineering company that provides a comprehensive range of intelligent warehouse logistics and materials handling solutions
They are seeking a solid Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain, repair and support the equipment on a Customer's site based in the North West.
? Carry out equipment servicing in
? Undertake scheduled maintenance repairs
? Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC skills - any PLC experience is fine
? Prioritise system faults
? To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
? To ensure quality of output at all times
? Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
? Maintain product flow at all times
? To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
? To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
? To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures
Knowledge and experience:
? ONC or equivalent experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering - you will have a good multi-skilled abaility with both electrical and mechanical, however, you can be either electrically or mechanically biased
? Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship - desirable, A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic technical manuals & drawings, understanding of control systems and techniques
? Previous experience of working with various conveyor systems
? Understanding of pre-preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
? Working knowledge of FEM and British Standards governing the automated warehouse industry would be helpful
You MUST be comfortable working at height and flexible for shift and weekend work. This is a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern. A global client who are known for looking after their staff, the salary on offer is excellent with a host of benefits available.
