The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of aviation rotary aircraft Puma Design Support and projects would include: Project planning and delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and quality requirements, Project/Technical liaison with customer and other stakeholders and assessment of customer requests for identification of practicality, cost and timescale.
Project managers must have at least 5 years in a Project/ Programme role within an aviation background, Proven record of managing multiple projects ranging from £50K to > £5 million and experience of working with the UK military.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Primary Design Organisation (DO) interface for technical queries from the Technical Support Service.
Overall co-ordination of the output to ensure that all deliverables are produced in accordance with the Project budget and schedule.
Control, maintain and manage the Puma Mk2 Co-ordinating Design Organisation Management plan.
Coordination for all Puma Mk 2 DO support activities between Design teams and the Technical Support Service function.
Coordinate tasks within the DO.
Technical coordination of modification proposal package within the DO to provide the Authority with impact assessment, technical proposal and statement of work.
Project management qualification of either PMP, Prince 2 or APMP
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent training.
