Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving/Logging and managing incidents in Service Desk
  • Provide basic support for Windows PCs/laptops and telephones.
  • Use problem solving skills to fix IT software and hardware
  • Escalating incidents to relevant 2nd Line support teams
  • Deploy IT equipment to staff to provide new functionality and replace end of life items.
  • Plan and implement tasks related to the provisioning of new IT equipment to staff.
  • Educate staff in how to use new technologies
  • Maintain and produce documentation and "How To" guides

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of Windows 7/10 preferredd but not essential
  • Understanding of Office products
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical problems
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Previous experience of working with others or on your own.
  • Experience of other IT equipment (Phones, Printers etc)

Education, Training & Qualifications:

  • A-Levels or equivalent level of qualification
  • Experience - Passion for IT and proven customer services skills

Additional Information:

  • £14,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
