Part-Time Bookkeeper Company Accountant Job Braintree Essex
Your new company
You will be working for a small business in Braintree who are growing and now need to employee a part-time bookkeeper. They are a flexible business who are happy to offer part-time hours that suit you. The hours could be 1 or 2 full days per week or a few hours per day 4 days per week. The position also comes with a free parking space.
Your new role
There are two aspects to this new position. Firstly due to the company growth, you will need to reconcile Sage 50/bank accounts and get to a starting point that you are happy with moving forward. They would be happy for you to come in for a couple of weeks full-time to get to this point if you would like.
The second aspect will be the day-to-day part-time bookkeeping job moving forward. Your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, updating Sage, updating information from the companies CRM system, credit control, banking, cashbooks, reconciliations, liaison with the external payroll company, liaison with the external accountants.
You will be supported by a credit controller/finance administrator who has worked for the company for a number of years.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have Bookkeeper experience from within SME businesses and have used Sage 50.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid £9-10.50 per hour including holiday pay
