A vacancy has arisen with our client for an experienced Service Engineer to join the service department working out of their South West branch based in Ivybridge.
The primary responsibilities as a Service Engineer are:
The main duties of the role are to carry out routine planned maintenance on Compressors and ancillary product ( oil water separator’s / filters / dryers ), attend equipment breakdowns when they occur, diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect the repair as quickly as possible to the clients satisfaction.
The Service Engineer will have the following skills:
The successful applicant should have previous experience in compressed air or related industries (eg HGV Commercial truck maintenance / fork lifts / industrial electrician / factory multi skilled engineer employed on factory equipment maintenance). With the ability to work on their own initiative and to demonstrate the customer care skills necessary to service an established customer base and give support to our clients distributor network, the applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working hours. Full training will be given.
