I am recruiting, on behalf of my client for a full time/ part time accounts assistant on a permanent basis..


- Running the sales and purchase ledger transactional administration
- Assisting with the running of the Accounts Department based in Crewkerne
- Based on the transactional data support the finance teams objective of provide data and analysis to stakeholders in business to support the finance team providing insight to facilitate good decision making across the business


- Purchase ledger control - Batch supplier invoices and credits, posting invoices to correct GL code
- Resolve accounts payable queries, follow up on invoice queries with the relevant department until they are fully resolved or escalated
- Request Credit Notes from suppliers where necessary
- Advise the Payable team of payments due

- Credit Control - Issue customer invoices, credits and monthly statements
- Work with the credit control department in head office to resolve any queried invoices

- Manage accounts email inbox

- Finance administration - Analyse and post expense claim forms
- Analyse and post credit card receipts

- Payroll and HR Administration - Receive and Process holiday requests
- Assist in managing the time and attendance system
- Assist in some payroll tasks such as distributing payslips

- Ad-hoc duties as required
